This municipally owned ski area is close to downtown Juneau on Douglas Island. There is a ski school, lodge, equipment renatl shop, ski patrol, and the hill boast a vertical drop of 1400 ft. They have beginner, novice, and expert runs. They also offer 8 km of nordic skiing trails.
